Kids
At Lakewood, your children can experience a safe, age-appropriate environment where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way for infants all the way up to 6th grade. Our ministries include Children’s Church during the worship services, Sunday School, nursery care, AWANA, Upward Basketball, and our yearly summertime Vacation Bible School.
Prayer
Prayer Connect is comprised of people from Lakewood who gather together for unified, and purposeful prayer. We count it a privilege to pray for your requests on a weekly basis. We are always looking for more people to join us. Prayer Connect takes place on Tuesday at 6:30pm in our Youth Center.
Youth
FIRE Student Ministries exists to equip students to use their gifts and abilities to honor God and to reach their friends. Each student is challenged no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. We have a commitment to cultural relevance and Biblical integrity. Click here for more information about FIRE.
Counseling
We all have times when we just need a helping hand to get through difficult circumstances. Some of these trials are caused by our choices, as we reap the consequences of our decisions. Sometimes we are confused or depressed or struggling in one area of life, and don’t know why. Now might be the time when you need someone to encourage you from the Bible. Click

Young Adults
The young adult group is a weekly hang out time and Bible study for young adults age 18 through their 30s. We are a sermon-based small group, so our time together allows us to dig deeper into the Sunday message and apply it to our lives.
Small Groups
We want everyone to be involved in a Small Group, because it is the best way for you to serve and be served at Lakewood. Many of our groups meet in homes and are made up of people from all walks of life; married, single, old, young, etc. Other groups are formed according to gender, season of life and special interests. Let us help you find your niche. Tell us a little bit about yourself, and we’ll help you find the group that is the right fit for you.
Women
The Women’s Ministry encourages women with a sense of belonging to God and each other. Women are enabled to become who they are in Christ and are equipped to bless others with the grace and truth of Jesus Christ.
Missions
Missions is at the heart of the Gospel. We strive to be on the front line whether locally, nationally, or internationally. We reach out with the love of Christ in our local neighborhoods by providing for practical needs and showing them someone cares. This is done through yearly events and continuous acts of service such as Angel Tree and Operation Christmas Child along with our partnerships with local ministries.
Men
Men can come together and build each other up to equip them to be better men, husbands, fathers and friends.
